My name is Michael. I grew up in Tennessee, surrounded by a mix of small-town values and big curiosity.
That early environment seriously taught me the value of patience, persistence, and progress (more on that later). These lessons still shape how I approach both life and work today.
Fast forward a bit, I went on to graduate from the University of Memphis. Not long after, I married my beautiful wife, and together we’ve built a rewarding life with our three amazing kids.
They’re my favorite project… constantly reminding me to stay patient, playful, and curious.
I’ve always been obsessed with forward progress.
The Japanese concept of Kaizen (continuous improvement) has been a quiet compass in everything I do.
Paired with a recent fascination for the Stoics; they keep me grounded through change and all of life’s challenges.
Together, they push me to stay steady, level-headed, and just keep improving. No drama, no rush.
It’s become the mindset that helps me navigate work, life, and everything in between with a little more intention.
I’ve been fortunate to work with incredible people.
Lots of trips to Seattle, Boston, San Fransisco, and New York. Many SKOs and all-hands meetings. Lots of friendships created and memories made.
When I’m not deep in work or spending time with the family, you’ll usually find me lost in a good audiobook, trying to get 10k steps a day or watching how something is built on YouTube (no shame in my game).
I love following the Memphis Grizzlies, riding around in my Jeep, hitting the trails on my bike, or spending quiet weekends accompanied by a nap in the hammock.
